Grant Alternative School Winter Carnival 2002

Winter carnival was on February 15, 2002.

The science team was there with the giant thermometer again and we had some frozen things to make a great ice wall.

There was a hockey game, "cat and mouse" under the parachute, ice volleyball and tobaggan races.

We could have used a lot more snow.  As you can see, the ice wall was a bit skinny.  Students and parents had frozen containers with coloured water a few days before.  Most had to be done in freezers since even at night, temperatures were just a little below freezing.
