Grant Alternative School Winter Carnival 2002 |
||
|
Winter carnival was on February 15, 2002. The science team was there with the giant thermometer again and we had some frozen things to make a great ice wall. There was a hockey game, "cat and mouse" under the parachute, ice volleyball and tobaggan races. We could have used a lot more snow. As you can see, the ice wall
was a bit skinny. Students and parents had frozen containers with
coloured water a few days before. Most had to be done in freezers
since even at night, temperatures were just a little below freezing. Also look at the winter carnival of 1999-2000 here |
